We are seeking an experienced Trauma/Acute Care Surgery (ACS) Surgeon to join our teaching faculty at a Level III Academic Trauma Center nearFresno, California. Teach in a well-established surgery residency program, while enjoying a flexible schedule of 9 shifts per month, competitive pay, and travel coverage. Position Details: Academic community teaching hospital Shift Schedule:9 shifts per month Shift Type:24-hour shifts (call and surgical coverage) Trauma Level:Level III Trauma Center Compensation: TBD Teaching Stipend Responsibilities: Provide emergency trauma and acute care surgical services Perform surgical procedures and manage operative and non-operative patients Collaborate closely with trauma, emergency medicine, and hospitalist teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Participate in consultations, admissions, and inpatient rounding Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system Requirements: Board Certified in General Surgery Surgical Critical Care certification a plus Active California Medical License BLS & ACLS Certification - required Previous experience in a trauma or acute care surgery setting preferred
