Job Description

This full-time Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The role is onsite and requires working directly within the school setting in Raeford, NC. The primary responsibility is to support occupational therapy services for students, assisting in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans to promote skill acquisition and independence.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with occupational therapists and educational staff to provide therapeutic interventionsAssist students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skillsDocument student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelinesAdapt therapy activities to meet the diverse needs of K-12 studentsParticipate in team meetings, including IEP planning and review sessionsQualifications:Valid North Carolina Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license requiredExperience working in school-based settings preferredKnowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and developmental milestonesStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and educatorsAbility to work onsite full-time during the academic yearLocation: Raeford, North CarolinaThis is a contract position specifically designed for candidates ready to contribute to the education and therapeutic support of school-age children.
