Adventure Manager - Residential Camp (Seasonal)Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson, Inc.Rock Hill Camp | Seasonal, Full-Time |Position SummaryTo enrich the camper experience at camp through the development and delivery of archery and challenge course activities that are appropriate to campers’ ages and abilities, while maintaining safe programs as directed by Girl Scouts of the USA, the American Camp Association, and the New York State Department of Health.Key Functions & ResponsibilitiesProvide instruction to campers and staff in archery and challenge course skills and safetyDeliver progressive archery and challenge course activitiesCare for and secure equipment and request necessary repairsMaintain records and reports as requiredEnsure campers and staff understand and follow all safety proceduresPromptly report any illness or injury to the Nurse/EMT and Camp DirectorAttend all required ropes and archery training dates, as applicablePerform other duties as assignedQualificationsSuccessful completion of a background checkMust be at least 18 years oldHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperience working with childrenCamp experience preferredCurrent certification in Archery instructionExperience with Challenge Courses preferredPhysical & Environmental RequirementsAbility to stand for long periodsCapable of lifting and carrying items over 15 lbsProficient in navigating rough terrainComfortable being physically active for an extended durationAbout Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson, Inc.Empowering girls through leadership, outdoor adventure, and community across the Hudson Valley.
