Autism Spectrum Therapies ('AST'), one of the largest and most respected autism services organizations in the county, is looking for an exceptional ABA professional to join our team as a Lead Technician (LT). This position is ideal for an experienced candidate ready to build their supervision skills while working toward becoming a BCBA.AST currently employs nearly 100 BCBAs with offices in 7 states and growing. This is a great opportunity to join a first-class, growing organization and position yourself for success in the field of ABA.A LT is assigned to a clinical team under the supervision of a BCBA and is responsible for assisting the BCBA with fulfilling certain supervisory duties. The LT may also provide direct intervention services as part of their position.In-Field SupportProvide field support to Behavior Technician's (BTs) on the clinical team and help them with contract fulfilmentAct as a floater for school cases, as neededProvide Parent Education and Consultation servicesAssist with client programing; analyzing data to identify issues for supervisorProvide other support to BCBAs as requestedOff-Site SupportWrite first drafts of progress reportsReview client programs on Catalyst (e.g., see if anything has failed in maintenance and needs to be re-introduced, if trial counts and other measures are being hit appropriately, if child has met goals and needs new ones, etc.)Conduct Program DevelopmentAssist with coordination of care (e.g., prepare emails to SC's, be present if another service provider overlaps and BCBA cannot be there)Training/MeetingsThe LTs will be required to complete supervisor training.The LTs will be required to meet as a cohort one time per month with Clinical Manager/Clinical Director for training/coaching on the following topics:Report writing; practice advice and coachingParent educationProgrammingProfessionalismHow to support BTs that need more clinical professional developmentProductivity ExpectationsProvide Field Supervision/Direct Intervention with the expectation almost exclusively in afternoon and evening timeslotsLTs will be expected to deliver 20 hours of billable service (direct services)LTs will be paid up to 20 hours of non-billable time. .All of the LT’s hours will be paid at the direct rate, with the exception of drive timeExperienced BT with 2+ years’ experienceHS Diploma or GED Equivalent RequiredExpected to be available between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m., Monday-Friday and on occasional weekendsRegular travel to clients’ homes and/or schools within the region, as well as occasional travel to office locations, is required for this positionSelection of LTs will be made by the Managing Clinical Sup and Clinical DirectorStrong detail orientationStrong time management skills and follow-throughOrganized and diplomaticAbility to work independently or within a larger teamAST/ Learn Behavioral is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
