Senior Account Manager - Houston, TX

Cummings Electrical is hiring a Senior Accounts Manager in Houston, TX.Currently seeking a Senior Account Managerto lead a team of service electricians. The SAM will oversee, guide, and manage the work of contractors, vendors, suppliers and employees. Responsibilities include efficient coordination and planning, to ensure that the team provides consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely deliverables and products for multiple projects. This person will ensure that workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for promoting environmental stewardship and a work culture focused on health and safety. This position will also work closely with the company’s management team in a decision-support capacity.Minimum 5 years or more years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical construction industryBachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering or related field is preferred or previous work as Licensed Electrician/SupervisorMust be capable of leading a team of up to 20 electricians.Experience with Electrical / Power Systems such as UPS, Switchgear, Generators, PDU's; a MUSTManaging Projects for Electrical installation of Equipment for high profile projects is a plusCustomer Service DrivenComputer Savvy (Microsoft Suite, MS Project, etc.)Solid Communicator - excellent oral and written communication skillsMonitor the performance and progress of staff, motivate, organize and encourage teamwork to ensure productivity targets are metKnowledge and application of relevant safety requirements that apply to the specific work being done. Recognizes and mitigates safety hazards on the job.
