You know we’re all continuously trying to become better care providers and you’re eager to learn.In keeping with the Dignity Health core values CNAs support and promote the provision of quality patient care and actively participates as a team member in the systems functions and activities of the unit/department.This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.Minimum Requirements: Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS)Current CNA Certification (CT NA)High School education or equivalentSuccessful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program.Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.Preferred Requirements:Six (6) months recent hospital experience as CNASpecial Skills:Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing clearly concisely and accurately. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to operate common office equipment including computers. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures..
