Design Liaison Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the aerospace and manufacturing industry, is seeking a passionate and skilled Design Liaison Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Design Liaison Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, innovative thinking, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title:Design Liaison Engineer Location:Greenville, SC What's the Job? Partner with Global Supply Chain (GSC) and collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvements and resolve hardware non-conformances while maintaining high-quality standards for customers Support Design for producibility, lean flow, and concurrent Engineering initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes Assist in hardware qualifications for new processes, process changes, and new equipment, applying knowledge of HGP design and manufacturing to enhance part functionality, reduce costs, and add value Participate in Supply Chain Kaizens & Lean Action Workouts to foster a culture of continuous improvement Engage proactively in quality initiatives aimed at defect reduction and process enhancements, supporting qualification guidelines, specifications, and addressing top manufacturing issues What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing Experience with hardware design, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance Knowledge of HGP design and manufacturing principles Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills What's in it for me?
