The role requires occasional travel to other Central Texas locations to collaborate with various teams, attend meetings, and support regional initiatives, ensuring seamless service delivery across all sites. Job Summary The Community Outreach Coordinator manages the organization's community benefit efforts. This position partners with local and regional community collaboratives, BSWH grantees and employees, and other facilities' personnel and leadership. This position also helps manage the daily operations of the Community Benefit Department. Essential Functions of the Role + Supports the coordination, implementation and completion of the triennial Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) + Works with hospitals personnel and leaders to identify, track and report community benefit activities + Supports the Community Benefit Investment Fund grant program + Works with the Community Benefit Project Manager and hospitals to provide leadership and coordination of Implementation Plan completion and outcome tracking + Inputs any necessary data and prepares all appropriate reports. + Coordinates and directs CHNA activities + Maintains records for budgeting needs and community benefit reporting. + Works alongside the Community Affairs team to ensure community benefit alignment + Collects required information and enters it into the community benefit database. Prepares summary and detailed reports and shares them with various audiences. + Manages the day-to-day department operations within budgetary allowances. + Prepares all required financial and grantmaking outcome reports.
