Machine Operator

Machine Operators - 1st and 3rd Shift - 20/hr - Direct Placement Responsibilities + Set up extrusion machines according to the production schedule, which outlines the amount and specifics of parts needed. + Perform die and roll changes as necessary. + Conduct first and last article inspections and log data into Excel documents, using the metric system. + Adjust machines if inspections reveal inaccuracies. + Perform visual quality inspections, checking for color and shrinkage. + Operate a forklift occasionally and lift up to 50 pounds, with team lifts and cranes available for heavier materials. Essential Skills + Proficiency in machine operating and using hand and power tools. + Minimum of 2 years average job tenure in manufacturing. + Mechanical aptitude with a focus on machine operating. + Ability to grow into an Extrusion Operator role. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with polypropylene and/or polyethylene plastics. + Ability to navigate Excel efficiently. + Prior leadership, supervision, or management experience is advantageous due to expected team retirements. Shifts available include 1st shift (7AM-7PM, Monday-Thursday) and 3rd shift (7PM-7AM, Monday-Thursday). You will work four 12-hour shifts during certain periods and three 12-hour shifts with an additional 4-hour shift on Fridays during others.
