Lathe Machinist

Job Title: Lathe Machinist Job Description Set up and operate a Eurotech Twin Turret/Spindle Lathe with a Fanuc Controller. Complete first article inspections using micrometers, calipers, and head gauges. Work primarily with stainless steel, with lengths mostly around 6 inches, adhering to specifications of +/- 1 thousandth of an inch. Serve as a resource for newer machinists, sharing knowledge to help develop future talent. Responsibilities + Set up and operate Eurotech Twin Turret/Spindle Lathe with Fanuc Controller. + Complete first article inspections using precise measuring tools. + Work predominantly with stainless steel, ensuring precision within +/- 1 thousandth of an inch. + Mentor and guide newer machinists to enhance their skills and knowledge. Essential Skills + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Experience with setting up and operating Twin Turret/Spindle Lathes in a custom environment. + Comfortable with Fanuc controllers, Haas, Eurotech, G&M codes, machine setup, and troubleshooting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Possess a teacher/leader mindset to mentor and guide colleagues. Why Work Here?
