What we look for in our Accounting intern: + Must be pursuing an associate or bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related. Sophomore student standing or higher preferred. + Must have completed lower-level financial and managerial accounting courses. + Availability in Summer 2026 (May/June start until August/September depending on school); part-time availability after Summer preferred. + Must be 18 years of age or older. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Must be detail-oriented, well organized, and possess excellent follow-up skills. + Must be selfu2013motivated, able to multiu2010task, and work independently. + Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. What our Accounting intern is responsible for: + Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reports, and other accounting-close tasks + Assist with billing and accounts receivable + Review budget-to-actual variances and perform fluctuations analysis + Document processes, internal controls, and workflows + Gather audit documentation + Support in technology implementations If youu2019re passionate about sustainability and want to work with our team to help solve the critical problems our industry and clients face, we invite you to apply. _The hourly rate for this role is $22/hr._ _The McKinstry group of companies are equal opportunity employers.
