About the role Establish inside sales account strategy while leveraging data to execute sales process for assigned distributors to drive revenue growth. Interact with existing customers, primarily by phone and email. Partner with Electrical Distribution (ED) sales force with deal execution, internal pricing processes, account inquiries, and communications in a team sales approach. Responsibilities Strategically pitch distributors on business cases for stocking new products/unused Major Planning Groups (MPGs) Follow established sales processes to uncover opportunities to cross-sell/up-sell with distributors, decision-makers and additional contacts to increase Levitonu2019s market share Negotiate pricing and rebate agreements through a qualification process Identify high-value distributors and create account plans including specific sales plays and select opportunities to leverage field/specialized sales in a team-selling approach Generate project-based price quotations (RFPs) based on alignment with field rep and history of past quotes (BI tool analysis), providing cross referencing support as needed Support ED sales force with communications activities (e.g., new product announcements, price sheet updates) for all distributors in sales territory Qualifications Proven track record of success in prior sales roles Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong relationship-building and customer engagement abilities Ability to develop and effectively communicate expertise across a broad portfolio of technical products Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across functions Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and other CRM platforms preferred Education & Experience Bacheloru2019s Degree, technical degree preferred 2-5 years of comparable sales experience inside and/or outside of Leviton with similar products/customers Experience managing a sales territory size up to $2.5 million Must have proven leadership and relationship management experience Travel 0% - 5% What We Offer Comprehensive benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance programs 401K plans with employer-matching contributions Tuition reimbursement PTO Paid holidays Volunteer time off For more information about benefits, please go to: Leviton is an EEO/AA Employer.
