The role involves timely task execution and close collaboration with engineering, quality, and materials teams to ensure proper handling and documentation of optical, mechanical, and electrical components. Ideal candidates bring strong attention to detail, relevant material handling experience, and solid problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills. This position offers the opportunity to support advanced technology and precision manufacturing within L3Harris Space and Mission Systems. Essential Functions: u2022 Monitors the efficient movement of material from the warehouse to production u2022 Use ERP systems and production planning software to process transactions u2022 Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation u2022 Assist with identifying problems with material orders and recommend solutions u2022 Work cross functionally to troubleshoot and resolve paperwork and parts issues u2022 Adhere to established policies, procedures, and proper labor charging practices u2022 Work with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) to complete tasks u2022 Ability to obtain US Government security clearance Qualifications: u2022 Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience: Or, 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience u2022 Ability to work overtime/weekend shifts as needed u2022 Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines u2022 Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Preferred Additional Skills: u2022 High attention to detail and organizational skills u2022 Strong communication skills both written and verbal u2022 Experience in an Electrical/Mechanical/Optical discipline u2022 Aerospace or Defense industry experience u2022 Proven experience as a Production Control Expert or in a similar role such as inventory/materials management u2022 In-depth knowledge of production planning and quality control principles u2022 Lean Manufacturing practices In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $45,000-$84,000.
