Our client, a leading retail and commercial property management organization, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the shopping center operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to doing the right thing, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Tech Location: Richmond, VA Pay Range: $20/hr Shift: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4:30PM What's the Job? + Perform a wide variety of maintenance functions to ensure the physical plant of the shopping center is well-maintained and operational. + Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. + Operate equipment such as hi-lifts, trash compactors, freight lifts, and trucks safely and efficiently. + Repair, modify, and move mall furniture and fixtures as needed. + Assist with minor roof, floor, and concrete repairs, drywall installation, painting, and inventory management. What's Needed? + High School Diploma or GED required. + 3+ years of experience in a related maintenance field required. + Completion of 2 years of technical school or certification in a relevant area preferred. + Valid Driver's License required. + Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
