JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of the Fire Sprinkler Managerposition is to provide oversight of the overall management, operations,and financial performance for the assigned Sprinkler department(s).Performs consistently as a subject matter expert, to achievecommunicated objectives to include profitability, growth, and overallperformance metrics for assigned department. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:Oversight of the fire sprinkler department including performance ofinspections, services, & installs. Responsible for the financialperformance of assigned department, as indicated on Profit & Loss (P&L)statement(s) as well as departmental gross revenue, gross margin andoverhead. Communicate and strategize with management about financialprogress, growth strategies, human capital requirements and regular orirregular needs of the office. Ensure proper execution of internalworkflow/paperwork, work in the field, quality assurance / qualitycontrol, and all work is performed in a safe manner within local, state,federal guidelines. Achieve departmental objectives through enhancementand improvements of operations and processes. Maintain proper staffinglevels using company procedures and policies, in conjunction with bidprojection and utilize Human Resources for Talent requirements. Overseeproper use, maintenance and repair of company assets includingequipment, tools, supplies, and fleet in coordination with corporatePurchasing and Fleet department. Manage work performed within assignedarea including spot checks, ride-a-longs, ongoing training, Performanceof spot checks of recent field work for the purpose of reviewing qualityof services, compliance with codes & standards, and customersatisfaction. Performance of ride-a-longs with field Technicians for thepurpose of training and improve customer care, quality control, workefficiency, work safety, product and service up-sales, and new customercold calling. Review and track routes for each Technician and adjustwhen needed to approve route efficiency; train the CSR and/or Technicianon how to schedule efficiently.
