What Weu2019re Doing: Our Team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Regional team, is constantly engineering, developing and integrating new capabilities for the U.S. Missile Defense System. protecting both the United States and its allies. This large, fast paced team, is composed of many small agile teams working together dynamic environment with a common mission to develop and deploy leading-edge missile defense technologies. The Work: The C2BMC-Regional Application Agile Release Train is seeking a Software Engineer that will thrive in a fast paced team environment in the design, development, and testing of the C2BMC applications. Must currently hold an ACTIVE DoD Final Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position. Experience in full life cycle software development of Java-based applications in a Unix/Linux platform environment. Experience developing software in a structured, process-based integrated team environment. Experience utilizing configuration management tools in the development of software (e.g. Git/Gitlab/etc.). Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as System requirements, Use Cases, and SysML diagrams. Security+ or equivalent certification may be required within 60 days of starting Desired Skills: Experience in design and development of Java applications. Experience in developing new capabilities into a legacy SW system. Experience in SW analysis against performance requirements. Experience in optimizing software applications for performance. Experience in development of complex mathematical algorithms from whitepapers or algorithm design documentation. Experience resolving cyber/security issues identified by Fortify/SonarQube/etc. CICD development experience Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
