The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating production equipment under immediate supervision in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. This role ensures client meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards and satisfies customer requirements. SHIFT- 2nd shift Mon-Fri 3pm-11:30pm ($19.00 base + $2 shift diff.) Major Responsibilities u2022 Performing duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and the clients Code of Conduct requirements u2022 Operating manual production machinery and equipment u2022 Reading and interpreting job orders, diagrams, and/or blue prints to select, position, and secure machinery and materials u2022 Loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials and product utilizing lifting equipment when available u2022 Completing and maintaining all associated electronic processes and paperwork including bar-coding, checklists, stamping, blue prints, shipping/receiving documents, accessory lists, and scanning of materials u2022 Performing pre-shift preventative maintenance u2022 Maintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standards Required Skills u2022 Must be able to stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of the workday u2022 Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch u2022 Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs along and over 50lbs with assistance u2022 Must be able to climb and balance u2022 Must be able to use hands to reach, handle, and/or feel u2022 Must be able to visually inspect products u2022 Must have manual dexterity in hands for tool usage u2022 Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment u2022 Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment Required Experience u2022 GED or High School Diploma preferred u2022 Less than one year of experience in construction or manufacturing u2022 Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints u2022 Basic math and reading comprehension skills u2022 Ability to read a tape measure u2022 Ability to read, speak, and understand English u2022 Proven experience demonstrating safe and effective operation of required equipment As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
