Senior Annual Giving Officer + Job Number: 25598 + Functional Area: Alumni Relations + Department: Alumni Association Annual Giving + School Area: Alumni Association + Pay Range Minimum: $80,000 + Pay Range Maximum: $105,100 + Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid) + Employment Category: Exempt + Visa Sponsorship Available: No + Schedule: + Pay Grade: 8 Email a Friend Save Save Apply Now Posting Description SENIOR ANNUAL GIVING OFFICER, Alumni Association Annual Giving, to build membership in the Annual Giving Leadership Circle (AGLC). This position manages a regional portfolio of prospects capable of making annual commitments of $5,000 to $100,000 and plays a key role in expanding the base of donors giving $2,500 or more. The Senior Annual Giving Officer will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of 350+ prospects, conducting regular donor visits and qualifying individuals for major gift potential. The role includes partnering with colleagues across MIT to coordinate donor engagement, arranging prospect meetings and event participation, and ensuring timely documentation and followu2011up. This position requires the ability to convey the importance of unrestricted support and to advance MITu2019s philanthropic priorities through strategic, relationshipu2011based fundraising. . Job Requirements REQUIRED: Bacheloru2019s degree; a minimum of five years of annual giving or related nonprofit fundraising experience, including conducting donor solicitations; strong understanding of annual and major gift best practices; exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated ability to build trust with donors, volunteers, alumni, staff, and faculty; strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastu2011paced environment; professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail; ability to work independently and collaboratively; experience with enterprise fundraising systems such as Ellucian Advance Web or Evertrue; and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Zoom.
