Job Summary:WorkforceDevelopment Training Coordinator will be an integral part of the Workforce Services/Industrial Relations direct hire team and will support andfacilitateongoing efforts in Field Supervision and Craft development. Must be willing toworka flexible schedule ifrequired, including, but not limited to nightshift, split shift, or day shift. #LI-TH1Major Responsibilities: Maintains, Coordinates, and supports Port Arthur LNG Project craft construction training programs. Maintains and ensures project training programs are consistent with overall Gulf Coast initiatives. Support of craft training and certification program on the project. Conduct and/or recommend NCCER training for upskilling of craft professionals. Ensure that the training and assessment programs are consistent with Energy and NCCER guidelines and procedures. Schedule, coordinate and monitor classes, instructors, facilities, times, participants (level) and instructor evaluations both onsite and external training centers. Participates and at times leads efforts for the project apprentice training effort. Provides training to all levels of helpers, journeymen, foreman and general foreman. Administers ( Proctor ) onsite project craft certification testing program, including NCCER skills assessments. Responsible for Craft Competency Compliance to ES&H core processes and SWPP’s. Communicates craft training needs and makes recommendations to the Project Workforce Services Manager for consideration of additional program development or project support. Coordinate with external Training and Testing Centers. Track completed Verifications of Competency ( VOC ) on equipment. Coordinate and track completion of the Competency To Operate ( CTO ) Evaluations on Hand Tools Maintain record keeping of all training and evaluations within our SAP, and any other required data collection systems. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience Required Knowledge and Skills: Good analytical and strategic planning skills: able to prioritize, balance short and long-term priorities. Good understanding of construction industry. Effective Interpersonal Skill. NCCER Master Trainer; or ability to obtain. NCCER Certified in a Trade NCCER Rigging Practical Examiner; or ability to obtain. Bechtel Trainer for JLG/Sky Climber/Fork Lift/Cranes.
