This role will be instrumental in building and scaling our PCBA manufacturing solution to support the production of thousands of satellites.Key job responsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Manufacturing Test EngineersImplement and lead a comprehensive process to aggregate, provide, implement, and track Design for Manufacturing and Design for Test with the Design Engineering teamsMeasure and track production health metrics at our contract manufacturers Drive yield (both first pass and realized) improvements at our contract manufacturers for both manufacturing and test processesReport status to senior leadership in a clear and succinct mannerDevelop and implement best practices within the team while ingesting and replicating best practices from other teamsLead team to execute annual improvement plansBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of manufacturing, process, industrial engineering experience- 10+ years of engineering team management experience- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field- Experience in engineering team management- Experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering- Experience developing and testing mechanical robotics equipment- Experience in system-level integration- Experience with DFx (cost, test, manufacturing)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field- Knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, and software for technical document writing such as Visio, Word, or PowerPoint- Experience in technical leadership of development, testing, and implementation of large-scale, complex technology projectsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
