Support cardiac catheterization procedures in a dynamic Cath Lab setting in Flint, Texas, through precise operation of imaging equipment, accurate patient documentation, and strict adherence to patient safety protocols. This role requires expertise in electrophysiology and offers a full-time, contract opportunity with a structured four-day, 10-hour shift schedule.Key Responsibilities:Prepare catheterization lab equipment, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with quality controls.Assist in cardiovascular procedures by managing imaging technologies such as X-Ray, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), and intracardiac echocardiography (ICE).Document patient information and hemodynamic measurements meticulously in digital systems.Maintain aseptic technique consistently; intervene if sterile protocol breaches occur.Collaborate effectively with the procedural team, supporting patient safety and departmental workflow.Act as radiation safety representative during X-ray use.Participate in stocking supplies and daily room plete ongoing training and certification in cath lab technologies and procedures.Uphold organizational values including dignity, integrity, and compassion in all interactions.Desired Experience and Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or comparable healthcare education; bachelor's degree preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (AHA) required.Certification in electrophysiology or cardiovascular invasive specialties preferred (e.g., RCIS, RCES, RCS, or ARRT credentials).State licensure as required in Texas (MRT or LMRT).0-1 year acute care experience preferred, with demonstrated teamwork and communication skills.Location Insight:Flint, Texas, offers a welcoming community environment with easy access to metropolitan amenities and medical facilities.
