Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro ICU Location: Columbia, SC 29203 Duration: 13 weeks Shift & Schedule: Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM 3x12-hour shifts per week (37.5 hours/week) Weekend coverage as required Floating required within the health system Job Summary:"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a fast-paced Neuro ICU environment. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and be skilled in managing high-acuity neurological patients. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized care for Neuro ICU patients Monitor and manage patients with EVDs and lumbar drains Care for patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) Perform NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessments Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Float to other units within competency as required Requirements: Active RN license Strong Neuro ICU experience required Experience with EVDs, lumbar drains, and SAH patients NIHSS certification Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience Willingness to float within the health system Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel nursing experience Strong critical thinking and adaptability Excellent communication and teamwork skills For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
