Adjunct Faculty - Italian - Daytime

The ESL, Languages, and Cultures department at Middlesex College invites applications for part-time Adjunct Faculty Members to teach Italian for Spring 2026 and upcoming semesters.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Master’s Degree in Italian or Applied LinguisticsExperience teaching adult learnersSubject matter expertisePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Available to teach in person, days and/or eveningsFamiliarity with CanvasExperience teaching in higher educationExperience teaching in an international locationSUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:Please indicate day, evening, and/or Saturday availability in your application. We are currently ONLY looking for adjuncts who can teach in person. Staffing needs include Edison and the Perth Amboy Center. Note that the rate of pay is determined by the collective bargaining agreement.Please be aware that this is an adjunct pool position. Your completed application will enable hiring officials to contact you at some point in the near future.Effective pre-Summer 2025, compensation for adjunct instructors is determined by number of semesters taught and ranges from $992 - $1190 per contact hour in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement with the Middlesex College Chapter of The United Adjunct Union Faculty of New Jersey, Local 2222, NJSFT, AFT (AFL-CIO).
