Job Description GENERAL SUMMARYThe Club Service Attendant is a non-exempt position whose primary responsibility is to ensure that golf guests are appropriately introduced to the course and facilities, and that all rounds begin in a timely manner. In addition, this position will assist in the cleanliness and upkeep of the golf cart fleet and facilities, as well as the driving range, equipment and facilities. Cart Attendant Functions Provide enthusiastic and professional service to all guestsAssist with (un)loading of golf bags out of cars and into golf cartsMaintain and exhibit knowledge of the property, golf course and etiquetteInform players of the course local rules and regulationsInform guests of any peculiarities of the course or facilitiesEnsure that all players start in the correct order, and maintain that order and pace while on the courseEnsure that all players tee off on time and at the correct teeKeep records of all rounds played, as well as cart usageEnsure all players have receipts that are turned in at the start of playCommunicate with the Golf Shop and the ranger regarding the status of the tee timesAt the end of the day collect, organize and submit all records of play, including receipts and tee sheetsClean clubs for members and guests upon completion of round, as well as do the same for the rental equipmentWash and maintain golf cart fleet, including beverage cartTransport carts from cart shelter to the cart staging area outside of the golf shopEnsure cart fleet is stocked throughout the day with pencils, scorecards, tees, water, ice and sandEmpty trash in and around the golf facilitiesClean the shoe station of loose grass clippingsSweep and clean around the clubhouse and the outdoor groundsUnderstand and anticipate the needs of our members; be attentive, listen carefully and follow through; provide exceptional customer serviceCommunicate timely and follow up as appropriate Active participation in events, programs, meetings and trainingRepresent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and responseSchedule varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days and evenings Communication & Relationships Effectively and professionally interacts and communicates with senior management, managers, other Associates, members, and guests. Promote harmonious relations among members, staff, and the community at-large. Communicate timely and follow up, as appropriate. Active participation in required events, required programs, required meetings and required trainings.
