Position Title: Food Service Director/General ManagerLocation: Canterbury Place Senior Living, Pittsburgh Pa (Lawrenceville) Salary: 80K FT/Bonus Eligible Now seeking an experienced Food Service Director with a background in Institutional Dining, preferably Senior Living or Hospital. Must have FOH, BOH, Management experience that includes strong culinary knowledge, proven labor and management capabilities, and digital technology knowledge that includes Microsoft Office, digital ordering and inventory systems, digital HR and scheduling systems. Catering experience is a definite plus.Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have openings for a Rock Star Food Service Director/GM who shares our passion for Food and Service. This position is a prominent opportunity in a busy commercial kitchen and café operations setting and requires a polished and professional identity and winning attitude from a Director with experience leading a team in all operations. Experience desired in a Contract Dining Food Service setting such as Hospital, School, College, Senior Living or Corporate Dining accounts.The Food Service Director/ GM has an overall responsibility of food service. He/She institutes company cycle menus and recipes; plans and oversees purchasing, employee personnel programs, scheduling, bookkeeping, customer and client relations; overseas the food preparation service and sanitation; and is accountable for the total operation results.
