Job Description

A full-time, bilingual (Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) clinician is needed to provide specialized speech therapy services at an elementary school setting near Carpentersville, IL, with work primarily located in Aurora, IL. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to support a diverse caseload of students, ages 2 to 22, including those with moderate to severe disabilities, with a scheduled workload of 37.5 hours per week starting ASAP through May 21, 2026.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver individualized speech-language therapy addressing articulation, voice, oral-motor skills, feeding, receptive and expressive language delays, social language skills, augmentative communication, and assistive technology Perform diagnostic and evaluation testing tailored to student needs Write clear, comprehensive reports based on assessments and observations Develop, implement, and maintain IEP objectives aligned with student goals Collaborate closely with parents, educators, and interdisciplinary team members to track developmental progress and recommend targeted interventionsProvide therapy services across a range of disabilities with empathy and professionalismQualifications:Valid Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required At least 1-2 years of experience preferred as a practicing SLPBilingual fluency in Spanish essential to meet student communication needsStrong communication and collaboration skills with flexibility and problem-solving aptitude Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is highly beneficial Benefits:Competitive compensation reflective of experience Weekly pay schedule for financial stabilityComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage options Opportunities to work alongside a dedicated team in a supportive, nurturing educational environmentThis role is ideal for an SLP who is passionate about helping students overcome speech and language challenges, values teamwork, and thrives in school-based therapeutic practice.
