Muncy Place is currently hiringfull-time Nurse Aide Trainees (NA Trainees)to join our dedicated team!Program OverviewPaid 16-Day Training ProgramPost-Training: 4-Week Orientation at Muncy PlaceTransition to CNA Role Upon Successful Completion and AssessmentUpcoming Class:July atMuncy PlacePre-Class Employment Opportunity: Candidates hired before the training class begins will start asService Assistants, supporting the care team with non-clinical tasks such as:Assisting staffPassing waterProviding general resident supportThis is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a healthcare setting while preparing for a future CNA role.Key Responsibilities During TrainingSpend quality time engaging with residentsReport to the Nursing Assistant Instructor at least twice per shiftConduct final rounds with the care team to ensure resident comfortFollow scheduled breaks and lunches as directedMaintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to standard precautionsCommunicate effectively with residents, staff, and familiesUphold confidentiality and resident rightsCooperate with staff and accept duties with accountabilityAssist new employees and follow facility policiesMaintain educational competency with at least 12 hours of continuing education annuallyDaily Care DutiesProvide direct resident care under supervisionAssist with bathing, hygiene, dressing, and mealsMonitor therapy and bath schedulesEnsure residents are ready for meals and therapyOffer fluids regularly and document intakeEncourage residents to be out of bed and attend activitiesPractice safe transfers and use protective devices as neededKeep resident rooms neat and organizedTransport residents to scheduled activitiesExpectationsPerform according to system-wide competencies and behaviorsSupport residents with compassion and professionalismFollow all safety and care protocolsAdditional duties as assignedEducation & Knowledge RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentpreferredBasic understanding of:Body mechanicsSafe transfer techniquesEffective communication skills (oral and written)Note:NA Trainees may be present in rooms where medications are stored but arenot permitted to handle medications.
