Job DescriptionThis is a full-stack java developer position, exposure with front-end development is desired. The position will be supporting the Michigan Department of Transportation's (MDOT) Project Development and Maintenance addition to full-stack development, this position will also work with UI/UX team members in building user interfaces and responsive applicationsJob DutiesWorking with the project manager, application owner, and resource managerWorking on an agile development team to organize work, develop, test, and deploy code. Requirements3 years:Experience programming complex computer systems using JAVA, this includes using relevant IDE tools such as Eclipse/Jboss Developer Studio.2 years:Experience programming application user interfaces using front-end frameworks/HTML, CSS and JavaScriptExperience programming in projects using Spring framework.,Experience programming in projects using JPA or Hibernate framework., Experience participating as a programmer within an Agile development environment, Experience programming with Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Bootstrap, Experience programming with HTML5, CSS, and Data Tables,Experience programming with jQuery, jQuery UI, Experience programming with Oracle 12C or Oracle 19C, Desired Skills2 years:Experience programming with React.js, Experience programming in the JBOSS Enterprise Environment, Experience programming in SQL and/or PL/SQL., Experience programming with Jasper Reports, Crystal Reports, or Business Objects, 1 yearLExperience in UI/UX design principles & standards,Minimum EducationBachelor's Degree LocationLocal candidates ONLY: Must be within 60-90mi of Lansing Position is a hybrid schedule will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTIONWorking hours Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional Requirements Must be authorized to work in the United States; We are unable to offer sponsorships at this time Must undergo a background check and drug screening for employment. Employment Terms This is a W2 position 40 hrs per week HYBRID schedule - will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week.
