The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities to drive company growth. This role focuses on prospecting, building relationships, and generating qualified leads to support the sales pipeline. The BDR works closely with sales and operations teams to understand client needs and position solutions effectively. Identify and research potential clients, markets, and business opportunitiesGenerate new leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and referralsQualify inbound and outbound leads to determine fit and readinessSchedule meetings and hand off qualified opportunities to sales or account management teamsBuild and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clientsTrack and manage activities, leads, and pipeline in CRM systemsCollaborate with internal teams to align business development strategies with company goalsStay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activityAttend industry events, job fairs, and networking opportunities as neededHigh school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred1-3+ years of experience in sales, recruiting, or business developmentStrong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environmentSelf-motivated with strong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.Must meet conditional job offer requirements.
