Job Description

Anthropologie is looking for a Product Development Coordinator - Furniture to support the daily operational functions of the casegoods and furniture team in all aspects of product development. In this role you will be responsible for following through with the collections from inception until the style is approved or dropped and maintaining key cross functional relationships with internal partners.Read, understand, and follow the department calendar. Ensure deadlines are met to actualize the seasonal calendar successfully.Coordinate, assign, and schedule appropriate meetings, according to development calendarAnalyze development line plans and report workflow needsCreate and maintain accurate product development WIP report, create POs and non-merch POs for sampling, track and ensure on time sample delivery and set up for meetings.Monitor style creation in Tradestone and communicate style information to vendorsWork proactively with vendors and agents to ensure development samples meet the needs of the business regarding brand aesthetic, cost and timingCommunicate issues proactivelyManage sample tracking and sample approvals seasonallyExecute and deliver on tasks and small projects as guided by managerProfessionally communicate via email and in person with cross functional partnersAt least one year of experience in home/hardgoods product developmentKnowledge of furniture construction and manufacturing experience preferredUnderstanding of raw materials; woods, metals, textile, and finishes requiredKnowledge of product packaging and product testingLogistics, supply chain management experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsListens actively and asks appropriate questions to gain knowledgeOutlook, Powerpoint, and Excel Skills requiredAbility to prioritize projects and multiple tasksManage time effectivelyURBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
