IDP TM, Inc. is an AS9100D and ISO 9001 certified CNC machine shop that designs and manufactures precision parts for industries including Defense, Medical, Commercial, and Aerospace.Join the Integrated Defense Products team in Rockwall County! We specialize in aerospace defense and firearms part manufacturing. Currently, we're looking for machine operators who can ensure smooth production by handling tasks like opening/closing vices, reloading fixtures, mill work (not press break) and performing in-process inspections. As a CNC Operator, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. You will utilize your core skills in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge, along with precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers, to ensure high-quality output.Experience with measuring equipment such as height gauges, micrometers, and calipers is a must.Don't miss this opportunity to be a part of our growing team in our state-of-the-art air-conditioned facility!Responsibilities:Set up and prove out CNC machines for production. Provide a good first article part to Q.C. Load all tooling and tools.Machine fixtures and parts for tooling use in operationsStart and shut down CNC machines as trained when requiredMonitor tools and cutters for proper insertion and dullnessReport and bring back to the production manager with any broken tools. All tools and cutters will be bought through the production manager.Monitor coolant levels and PH levels. Keep machines at 6PH for alum and 10ph for steelsMake sure at all times that proper safety procedures are being utilized and work area is clean and safe.At any time there is a problem with operation of equipment, or you feel machine is not set up and running in a safe manner; stop running, turn off machine and notify a Supervisor immediately.If at any time another employee needs assistance or you see they need help, please offer assistance and or notify a Supervisor.Other duties as required by ManagementWe are looking for dependable, reliable, & knowledgeable people who can grow with our team & be a team leader.Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:CNC lathe: 2 years (Preferred)Manufacturing: 3 years (Required)CNC milling machine: 5 years (Required)CNC: 5 years (Required)CNC 5 axis: 2 years (Required)CNC Set-up: 2 years (Required)Available Shifts:2nd Shift: 1:00pm-9:30pm ($18.00 starting pay)3rd Shift: 9:00pm-5:30am ($19.00 starting pay)Hourly Rate:40 Hours per weekJob Type: Full-timePay: DOEExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceLife insuranceSchedule:8-hour shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeWeekends as needed#IND1
