CDL Driver/Paving Screed Operator

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Driver/Screed Operator to support our asphalt paving operations. This hybrid role is responsible for transporting materials and equipment to job sites and operating the screed on paving machines to ensure proper depth, grade, and overall pavement quality. The ideal candidate has strong driving experience, paving knowledge, and a team-first mindset.Safely operate commercial vehicles (dump truck, trailer, etc.) to transport materials and equipmentPerform pre- and post-trip inspections and comply with DOT regulationsLoad, secure, and unload materials using proper proceduresOperate and adjust the screed to ensure proper depth, grade, and smoothness of asphaltMonitor asphalt distribution to maintain consistent mat quality and rideabilityCommunicate with paving crew and paver operator to ensure efficient workflowVerify grade and depth using gauges and adjust settings as neededAssist with general paving duties, including equipment setup, cleanup, and maintenancePerform routine maintenance on trucks and paving equipmentMaintain accurate logs and report any safety or mechanical issuesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
