Industrial Painter - Evansville, IN

Industrial Filter Manufacturers is looking for an Industrial, Painter/Laborer, to join our team. The position averages 1 - 2 days in the paint booth per week with the remaining activities being testing, creating pallets, and general area upkeep. The successful candidate will be able to: Clean and prepare metal filter casing surfaces for painting including sanding and taping Hydro test vessels to ensure they meet industry standards Apply paint using paint gun Examine product after painting for quality standards Mix and blend paints prior to application Maintain painting equipment including cleaning and troubleshooting issues Maintain paint booth including sweeping and waste managementEducation / Technical Training expectations: 1+ year of related experience. Knowledge of paint guns and paint booth standards is required. Tape measure proficiency required.Job Specific Physical Demands: Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet plant requirements Continuous standing and movement Bending and stooping Lifting up to 50 pounds manually Ability to continuously work in an industrial setting with temperature variations Required to push and pull using a hand truck Repetitive hand motion, twisting, and arm motion required during activities Occasional reaching above and below the waist levelStandard shift is Monday ⓠFriday from 7:00am ⓠ3:30pm with occasional weekend work on Saturday from 6:00am ⓠ2:00pm as needed.
