Senior Accountant

A growing SaaS company in San Diego is hiring a Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations and help bring structure to a fast-paced, evolving environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, improving processes, and working closely with leadership as the company scales. This position sits at the center of the accounting function, supporting everything from month-end close to reporting and process improvement. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift. Key Responsibilities + Lead key components of the month-end and year-end close process + Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements + Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with GAAP standards + Assist with revenue recognition and expense tracking + Support audits and ensure proper documentation and controls + Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies + Partner with cross-functional teams on financial data and reporting + Assist with budgeting and forecasting support Requirements + 4u20136+ years of accounting experience + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or related field + Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting + Experience in SaaS or technology is a plus + Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.) + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Ability to work independently and manage deadlines Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
