Job Title: School-Based SLP or OT u2013 AT/AAC Assessor Company: Amergis Educational Staffing Location: Riverside County School District Position Type: Full-Time, Contract Schedule: Mondayu2013Friday, 7.5 hours per day Contract Dates: Starting ASAP and supporting the full 2026u20132027 School Year Compensation: Starting at $80 per hour Job Description: Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a qualified and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Occupational Therapist (OT) to serve as an Assistive Technology (AT) and Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) Assessor for a school district in Riverside County. This is a full-time position for the entire 2026u20132027 school year, supporting students across multiple school sites. Responsibilities: + Conduct comprehensive AT and AAC evaluations for students district-wide. + Provide recommendations, reports, and support for IEP teams. + Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families on implementing AT/AAC tools and strategies. + Assist with device trials, programming, customization, and troubleshooting. + Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions. + Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements. + Provide consultation, training, and ongoing monitoring of student progress. Requirements: + Valid licensure as an SLP (CCC-SLP preferred) or OTR/L. + Experience in AT/AAC assessment within school settings is strongly preferred. + Strong knowledge of AAC systems, communication devices, and educational assistive technology. + Ability to work across multiple sites and collaborate effectively with school teams. + Strong communication and organizational skills.
