Job Summary and Responsibilities As our CNA at St. John's youu2019ll help our patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with their basic daily life activities. Job Requirements + Minimum Requirements: + Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS) + Current CNA Certification (CT NA) + High School education or equivalent + Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program. + Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements. Preferred Requirements: + Six (6) months recent hospital experience as CNA Special Skills: + Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing clearly concisely and accurately. + Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. + Ability to operate common office equipment including computers. + Knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures. + .
