Maintenance Electrician

Maintenance Electrician $38 - $41 As a Level 3 Maintenance Technician, you will undertake the most senior role within our maintenance team. You will be responsible for both mechanical and electrical maintenance on machinery and plant equipment. Your role will include troubleshooting PLCs, particularly the person and automation direct, and connecting to a laptop for diagnostics. You will work with older machinery such as extruders, corrugators, molding machines, and plastic injection machines, which are used in recycling old plastic bottles to produce new products. Your expertise will be essential in handling 480v and 3-phase motors, VFDs, and sensors. The position requires troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing AC/DC motors and drives, along with working with pneumatics and some hydraulics. You will perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and carry out preventative maintenance tasks.
