Now Hiring Assembly Technician's & Mechanically Inclined Individuals in Leetsdale, PA ASAP Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician with over three years of experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong skill set in assembling and testing products, as well as proficiency in blueprint reading. Responsibilities + Assemble all required products and inspect materials for compliance to manufacturing specifications using work instructions, work orders, sketches, engineering drawings, and instructions. + Set up and operate hydraulic and hand presses. + Utilize various hand-tools and power-tools, such as pneumatic torque wrenches, screwdrivers, and electric drills, as well as taps and glues for assembling, wiring, cleaning, rustproofing, and handling filters and components. + Inspect final assembly and/or product to ensure quality meets all specifications. + Perform other assembly support functions including washing, testing, and working on different job tasks within the department. + Utilize the company-wide computer system to check stock, access engineering drawings, and verify work order status and other job-related manufacturing transactions as needed. + Disassemble filters returned for credit as required. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + 3+ years of experience in assembly within a manufacturing environment. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Experience with electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, pneumatics, and hydraulics. + Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to multi-task and work independently or as part of a team. + Cross-functional abilities in areas such as assembly, sub-assembly, rotomold trimming, parts washing, and material handling. + Experience in preventive maintenance and repair. Openings are available on all three shifts with training on the first shift for several months. Once transitioned to the third shift, employees are eligible for a shift differential.
