Forklift Operator

Job Title: Forklift Operator Job Description The forklift operator will play a crucial role on the receiving dock, responsible for efficiently unloading shipments and organizing them for storage. Responsibilities + Operate sit down forklifts to unload shipments from trucks and stage them for storage. + Utilize RF scanning equipment to scan barcodes on wrapped skids and input them into the warehouse management system. + Use stand-up reach trucks (preferably Crown brand) and cherry picker forklifts to transport skids from staging areas to the warehouse. Essential Skills + At least 1 year of prior forklift experience is required; 2+ years is preferred. + Experience with stand-up reach forklifts, preferably Crown brand. + Proficiency in loading and unloading trucks. + Familiarity with RF scanning equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Prior experience in shipping and receiving functions. + Experience in entering received shipments into the warehouse management system. Why Work Here? The dock is not climate controlled, requiring employees to work both inside and outside of trucks. Available shifts include a 3rd shift from 11 PM to 7 AM Sunday through Thursday, and a 2-2-3 schedule from 4 PM to 4 AM for the D team. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CHAMBERSBURG, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.81 - $22.81/hr.
