Behavioral Health Therapist I - McKeesport IOP

Western Psychiatric Hospital is looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team at our new Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at UPMC Mon Yough, McKeesport McKeesport's Adult Services IOP addresses the needs of those receiving treatment for bipolar disorder, eating disorders, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and depression. The intensive outpatient program offers you an opportunity to learn and practice DBT skills while working with a diverse population. Our Behavioral Health Therapist is eligible for a Sign on Bonus 1-year work commitment - $5,000 2-year work commitment - $7,000 3-year work commitment - $10,000 Responsibilities: + Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. + Completes same-day clinical documentation and provides necessary information for service authorization. + Reviews cases and patient condition changes with the supervisor and clinical team. + Assesses and updates patient needs and treatment plans. + Conducts new patient assessments under supervision and implements treatment models. + Provides individual and group therapy, engages families, and educates patients on recovery. + Documents all patient interactions and case management activities. + Discusses additional service needs with the clinical team and makes referrals as needed. + Participates in treatment team meetings to review and update treatment plans. + Maintains daily clinical productivity records. + Creates comprehensive treatment plans for patients with diverse needs. + Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required. (Successfully completed the educational requirements as defined in practicing state's code) + ATTENTION: A COPY OF YOUR GRADUATE-LEVEL TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED FOR CONSIDERATION. + One year of clinical experience preferred. + Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM preferred. + Experience in diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions preferred.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:Passed the examination required by 49.11. relating to licensure examination.
