Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Job Description We are seeking an outstanding Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in aerospace and a proven ability to deliver high-quality results efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing both 3D and 2D mechanical designs and conducting related analysis for payload satellite systems using Siemens NX. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in mechanical engineering, capable of handling both prototype and production-level designs. Responsibilities + Develop 3D and 2D mechanical designs for payload satellite systems using Siemens NX. + Perform related analysis for mechanical designs, focusing on payloads for aerospace applications. + Design and develop hardware at scale, including PCBA packaging and precision mechanisms. + Specify and justify margins, test sequences, and qualify space systems. + Conduct tolerance analysis and apply GD&T principles. + Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs. + Collaborate with equipment vendors and solicit observations from operators. + Lead interdisciplinary discussions between Hardware, Reliability, and Firmware teams to define scope and reach system-level trade-offs. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. + 5+ years of experience with CAD. + 5+ years of experience in hardware design and development at scale. + 7+ years of experience in the development, testing, and deployment of aerospace systems. + Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis. + Experience in DFM and manufacturing process development. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 6+ years of experience in the design and production of PCBA enclosures for spacecraft. + Experience with NX and TeamCenter. + Proficiency in issue tracking applications such as JIRA and TRAC. + Strong time and task management skills with attention to detail. + Ability to calculate production, labor, and material costs.
