Job Title: Reliability EngineerJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Reliability Engineer to recommend and implement improvements in plant performance to optimize product rates, yields, and quality. This role requires aligning with business needs and adhering to Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) standards. Responsibilities + Provide technical support to resolve problems and use statistical techniques to improve process capability and control. + Utilize failure analysis methodologies to identify root causes and recommend effective solutions. + Collaborate with cross-functional departments to achieve company goals. + Support the site mechanical integrity program by investigating equipment issues and eliminating the recurrence of failures to enhance plant performance and reliability. + Review maintenance work plans to ensure optimal preventative maintenance scheduling and work practices. + Develop Asset Care Plans to monitor equipment condition, maximize plant safety and reliability, and reduce downtime. + Assist in the design, procurement, and installation of new equipment and recommend, develop, and coordinate capital improvements. + Support and implement new product and process development and create manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures for process and equipment operation. + Conduct 'end-of-life' assessments and make recommendations for equipment repairs and replacements. + Identify and implement improvements in equipment monitoring capabilities. + Serve as the Process Safety Management (PSM) custodian, coordinating with site and regional PSM representatives to evaluate manufacturing process-related risks and incidents. + Participate in Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) for key manufacturing and capital projects. + Ensure product and process changes comply with Management of Change (MOC) principles and provide necessary training for manufacturing personnel. + Monitor maintenance and capital projects as well as external contractors in accordance with site regulations and standards. + Support efforts to implement and maintain the Responsible Careu00ae Management System in compliance with RC14001u00ae technical specifications. Essential Skills + Proficiency in process engineering, root cause analysis, and process improvement. + Experience in manufacturing processes, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement. + In-depth knowledge of chemical manufacturing process technologies, engineering principles, mechanical and instrumentation systems, calibration and maintenance, and control systems. + Understanding of Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) methodologies and reliability analysis tools. + Familiarity with safety protocols such as confined space entry, lockout-tag-out, and hot-work permitting. + Proficient in statistical analysis and equipment diagnostics. + Strong project management skills, including scheduling, safety oversight, and contractor management. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline. + Minimum of 4+ years of experience in manufacturing. Work Environment The work environment involves collaboration with various departments and adherence to rigorous safety and environmental standards. The position may require monitoring maintenance and capital projects, as well as working with external contractors. The dress code and specific work hours are in accordance with site regulations and industry standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tuscola, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
