Frontier is the most fuel-efficient of all major U.S. carriers when measured by ASMs per fuel gallon consumed.What Will You Be Doing?The Senior Analyst, Network Scheduling is responsible for coordinating the design and development of Frontiers flight schedule that will yield industry leading revenue and operational performance. Working with Network Planning and Scheduling, this Analyst will understand market frequency requirements while working in the confines of limited fleet and station resources. Reviewing connectivity of the banks, patterns, curfews, allocated slots, maintenance, gating, crew modularity and operational reliability. Working cross functionally across multiple groups in the airline. Creating multiple schedule scenarios and training other Flight Schedules Analysts.Essential FunctionsProduce detailed, fully dated schedules that:Maintenance needsHolidaysCrew projectionsAirport and gating availabilityEliminate crew inefficienciesOptimize connectivityReflect proper allocation of aircraft types and sub-fleetsContain aircraft routings that satisfy maintenance requirementsReflect single day changes driven by:Work with senior management on requested monthly schedule adjustmentsResponsible for closing monthly schedulesResponsible for communicating schedule changes to System Operations Control, Crew scheduling, Crew Planning, Reservations, Maintenance, Customer Service and all other customer interfacing teamsManipulate scheduling software to create new reports and processes that improve scheduling efficiency and communicationAct as a resource when schedule questions ariseAssists Planning department with flight scheduling inquiriesEfficient prioritization of daily responsibilitiesDevelop/modify/manage schedule files using flight scheduling software.Attend industry conferences at managers requestParticipate and assist with Schedules Analyst and Schedules Analyst IIs responsibilitiesOther FunctionsMaintain fleet count and available aircraft timeManage and implement all close in block time adjustment requestsWork with business partners to produce operationally viable schedulesAccess FlightTrac to produce and manage communicative reports to external and internal recipientsQualificationsBachelors degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Aviation Management or similar discipline required; combination of relevant education and work experience considered in lieu of degree requirementAdvanced degree preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in airline scheduling or planningPrevious experience this FlightTrac and DIIOMust have prior experience in publishing flight schedulesPrevious experience with SQL and python helpfulKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesPrevious knowledge in Sabre Schedule Management SystemAdvanced knowledge of airline operations, economics and schedulingProven ability to efficiently summarize variances and present recommendation to upper managementMust be able to independently identify a problem and sift through multiple data sources for resolutionExcellent organizational skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to handle confidential materialHigh degree of PC skills (MS Office applications, database tools, etc.)Excellent understanding of airline operational restrictions (SOC, Dispatch, Crews, CS, etc.)General knowledge of North American geographyEquipment OperatedStandard office equipment, including PC, copier, fax machine, printer, but especially fax machineWork EnvironmentTypical office environment, adequately heated and cooledOccasional travel may be requiredPhysical EffortGenerally, not required.Supervision ReceivedGeneral Direction: The incumbent normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments.Salary Range: $72,000 - $96,331.
