Job Title: Tier 1 Operations Engineer u2013 ECDS Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local The Opportunity: The TCS team is looking for a Tier 1 Operations Engineer to work on Enterprise Cross-Domain Systems and associated projects. These systems provide reliable data transfers between domains for general users and programs. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-line support to our customers and internal teams, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted service delivery. You will troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical issues, identify and escalate critical incidents, and contribute to the overall operational efficiency of our systems. Responsibilities: u2022 Provide first-line technical support: Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve technical issues via phone, email, and chat. u2022 Troubleshoot and diagnose problems: Identify and resolve a variety of technical issues related to operating systems, applications, network connectivity, hardware, etc. u2022 Monitor system performance: Regularly monitor system performance metrics and proactively identify and address potential issues. u2022 Document and maintain knowledge base: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of troubleshooting procedures, known issues, and resolutions. u2022 Escalate critical incidents: Identify and escalate critical incidents to higher-level support teams as needed. u2022 Participate in on-call rotations: Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis. u2022 Contribute to process improvement: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline support processes. u2022 Stay current with industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in IT operations. Qualifications: _Required:_ u2022 10 years of relevant experience. u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree in a Technical field (i.e. Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science) u2022 DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01-M.IAT Level II Certification u2022 Active TS/SCI Clearance (must obtain a CI Poly within 6 months of start date) (US Citizenship required) - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
