Overview Minimum Qualifications: 2+ yearsu2019 experience interpreting and translating in a healthcare setting, including experience working with the community and/or a target language population with a diversity of cultural/socio-economic backgrounds. Competency in written and verbal communication skills in English and the designated foreign language. Ability to translate and interpret medical terminology. Experience interpreting and translating with patients at a full range of developmental and educational levels. Education/Licensure/Certifications: Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent in a related discipline preferred. Pay Scale Information USD $51,979.00 - USD $85,394.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidateu2019s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
