Provides clinicalsupport and distribution services in coordination with physician andnursing services in delivering quality and cost-effective drug therapyto patients. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimumof one year hospital or three years of other pharmacy experience ispreferred. Intensive care unit or emergency medicine experience ispreferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy orPharm. D. from an ACPE certified school of pharmacy is required.Successful completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 residency is preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Demonstrates effective use of computers andapplications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Outlook) as appropriate to practiceand communicates effectively. Active membership in the Pharmacy Societyof Wisconsin (PSW) preferred. Active membership in the American Societyof Health System Pharmacists (ASHP) and/or other national pharmacyorganizations as approved by the Pharmacy Administration preferred.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License is requiredor eligible for and must obtain within 3 months.
