Job Summary Entry-level role supporting preparation of board/committee materials, maintaining records, logistics and routine filings under supervision. Job Description What You'll Do: + Project management skills are a must + Booking travel and making reservations + Handle all accounting invoices and coding + Assist in compiling board and committee books, formatting materials, ensuring version control + Maintain corporate minute book and filing trackers + Support routine filings and document retention processes + Draft basic minutes and routine correspondence for review + Assist with routine board logistics (scheduling flights and ground transportation, placing catering orders, coordinating on-site volunteers) + Up to 25% overnight travel required What We're Looking For: + Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent; Law/Business preferred but not required + 1+ year of administrative or governance-related experience + Strong attention to detail, Microsoft Office proficiency + Progression indicators: + Accurate, timely board packet delivery; demonstrates growing initiative; masters board portal functions Other Must Haves: + Board support and administration (board and committee packet preparation, logistics, portal management) + Corporate recordkeeping (minute book, charters, bylaws, resolutions, statutory filings) + Governance compliance (conflicts disclosures, director onboarding/offboarding, regulatory/SEC basics) + Communication & drafting (clear, concise minutes, corporate resolutions, stakeholder communications) + Confidentiality & judgment (handling sensitive board materials) + Technology working knowledge (MS Office u2014 Word, Excel, PowerPoint; board portals such as Diligent/BoardEffect/Boardvantage; document management) + Project management and process improvement + Routine board logistics (scheduling flights and ground transportation, placing catering orders, coordinating on-site volunteers) Where You'll Work: + On-Site in the AEP Headquarters in Columbus, OH What You'll Get: + Hourly rate + Annual bonus + 401K Match + AEP Pension + Comprehensive benefits package that aims to support and enhance the overall well-being of our employees.
