This leader will be responsible for directing patient care operations for Peri-operative services. They will be a role model for service excellence and build teams that collaborate with others to serve and exceed the expectations of the hospital's customers.This Director will champion pro-active employee relations, manage conflict and/or change towards a productive outcomes. They will strive for continuous improvement and business results that meet/exceed every customer's expectation. They will promote the safety and well-being of all patients and employees within department. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Responsible for directing patient care operations for Peri-operative services. Role model service excellence and builds teams that collaborate with others to serve and exceed the expectations of the hospital's customers. Champions pro-active employee relations, manages conflict and/or change towards a productive outcomes. Strives for continuous improvement and business results that meet/exceed every customer's expectation. Promotes the safety and well-being of all patients and employees within department. Responsibilities + Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership. + Plans, develops, and directs functions of peri-operative services. + Creates an environment of patient care that emphasizes service excellence with a strong preference for continuous performance improvement. Analyzes trends and statistics to promote efficient utilization of resources. + Coordinates patient care with an appreciation of the complex needs of the multidisciplinary team + Develops goals for peri-operative service that align with organizational goals.
