Description uf0b7 Respond to Government payers by phone or correspondence concerning claims issues. uf0b7 Assists with all calls, correspondence and concerns regarding Medicare claims with the FIu2019s. uf0b7 Take action on bill review requests from the Collections Team in a timely manner. uf0b7 Complete worklist daily and ensure all accounts are set for follow up. uf0b7 Review unbilled accounts and ATB to ensure timely billing and collection. uf0b7 Communicate all denials to the billing supervisor. uf0b7 Aggressively work aged accounts to expedite cash, reduce bad debt and A/R days. uf0b7 Meets corporate goals monthly on billing and collections. uf0b7 Works with others as a team player, as well as the hospital/clinic staff. uf0b7 Investigates COB issues and communicates with appropriate staff members for resolution. uf0b7 Responsible for obtaining medical records required for certain commercial claims. uf0b7 Ensure all prebilling tasks are completed and correct information is sent out on claims. uf0b7 Provide support to all facilities when requests are received or assistance is needed. Be timely and responsive to all requests.
