Role Purpose Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain related components such as pumps, valves, vessels, hydrant pits, gauges, switches, motors, lights, heaters, meters, hoses, etc. What you will be doing: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.u2022 Diagnose problems using test equipment, statistics, equipment history, manufacturer specs, industry related standards and blueprints.u2022 Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain related components such as pumps, valves, vessels, hydrant pits, gauges, switches, motors, lights, heaters, meters, hoses, etc.u2022 Follow company and departmental safety policies and procedures.u2022 Maintain records relating to maintenance.u2022 Support Gauger position as necessary.u2022 Comply with the stationu2019s attendance policy.u2022 Performs other duties as assigned. What we are looking for: Must be at least 18 years of age. u2022 High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. u2022 Must be able to pass all pre-employment tests, including a drug test. u2022 Capable of safely lifting up to 70 lbs. continuously.u2022 Must be able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English proficiently. u2022 Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.u2022 Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.u2022 Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. u2022 Must have a current driveru2019s license with no violations over the past 5 years.u2022 Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including overtime, weekends, and holidays. u2022 Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airports and Custom badges/seals.u2022 Must be able to meet and maintain the security level required for this position.u2022 Work is done primarily outdoors.
